Hints of Excitement

Amidst the preparations of Diwali festives...somewhere you get these pangs of excitement about all the exuberance that the evening would have and somewhere deep down you feel the nostalgia about your past....the festive shopping...dressing up gaudy for the eve...entire family gathered for the puja at home which is followed by the most awaited family get togethers and dinners...the goodies....the kebabs...the biryani Mumma makes....everything...wow!!....nuthing can be compared to those moments that we spend with family looking at the full moon - brightly lit night sky...with a kind of anxiety of a child....guessing wats the next rocket is going to be like on the purple canvas of night...there are dreams and hopes and happiness floating around...love Diwali!
